Facts & Figures:

The International Engineering Fair is the most important industrial expo in Central Europe, with annual participation of more than 1,660 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors. More than 50% of exhibitors and 10% of visitors come from abroad. Most visitors are professionals, nearly eighty percent of visitors influence investment decisions, one third of them are top executives.

All key areas of mechanical and electrical engineering are represented.

The main theme of MSV is Industry 4.0 and Digital Factory, i.e. production digitization, one of the main directions of the innovation process. Additional highlighted topics include circular economy – the use of material resources. It is a trend that is one of the priority areas for sustainable development, and the adaptation of industry and trade will be heading in this particular direction.

In 2020, the IMT, FOND-EX, WELDING, PLASTEX and PROFINTECH fairs are held concurrently with MSV.

MSV has traditionally received high media attention, with approximately 300 journalists accredited. The fair includes a top supporting  programme of expert conferences, seminars and workshops on latest technical, business and economic topics.

Die Internationale Maschinenbaumesse ist die wichtigste Industriemesse Mitteleuropas, jedes Jahr nehmen an ihr mehr als 1.600 Aussteller und 80.000 Besucher teil. Aus dem Ausland kommen mehr als 50% der Aussteller und 10% der Besucher, 98 % der Aussteller haben Kontakte zu potenziellen in- und ausländischen Kunden angebahnt.

Die Besucher sind in hohem Maße fachkundig, 79 % von ihnen treffen oder beeinflussen Entscheidungen über Investitionen und Einkauf, ein Drittel gehört dem Top-Management an. Als wichtigsten Gewinn von der Messe sieht mehr als die Hälfte der Besucher Neuheiten, neue Technologien und Kontakte.

Vertreten sind alle Schlüsselbereiche des Maschinenbaus und der Elektrotechnik.

Das Hauptthema der MSV lautet Industrieautomation, in branchenübergreifendem Umfang wird Mess-, Steuer-, Automatisierungs- und Regeltechnik präsentiert. Der Bereich Elektronik, Automation und Messtechnik ist nach Werkzeugmaschinen sowie Werkstoffen und Komponenten für den Maschinenbau die drittumfangreichste Produktkategorie der MSV.

Die MSV genießt eine traditionell intensive Medienpräsenz, akkreditiert werden mehr als vierhundert Journalisten. Untrennbarer Teil der Messe ist ihr hochwertiges Rahmenprogramm mit Konferenzen, Seminaren und Workshops zu aktuellen Themen aus Technik, Handel und Wirtschaft.
